Distribution of cNFT Revenue
The funds from the sale of 10,000 blue cNFTs are set forth below:
Additional cNFT collections may be minted if demand supports further sales with revenue distribution wherein not more than 10% goes to founders. The division between the DAO treasury and the 10k Host project will be determined based on anticipated expenses to build the project.
Primary Finanical Goals
The primary goals for the cNFT sales are to:
Reward founders for expertise and effort, and expand the founder group as earned.
Expand the 10k NFT Project team (employees, contractors, community managers) and provide financial incentives for contributions.
Fund the start-up costs of the 10k Host Project (see below)
Begin funding the 10k Host DAO treasury so that when it gets formed, substantial funds will be available at the direction of dNFT owners.
Use of cNFT Funds by 10k Host Project
As stated above, 60% of NFT sale proceeds will fund the project, which will incur the overhead and business expenses of the build-out and execution of the roadmap. Anticipated expenses are set forth below. 100% of the proceeds from the blue cNFT sale will be used to pay project expenses. No ownership distributions will be made to the LLC owners, except to cover taxes, so that all blue cNFT revenue is used for build-out. The use of funds will be subject to discussion and comment by cNFT owners in the members-only Discord chat. Transparency and accountability will be prioritized at every stage.
The 10K Host, LLC will likely need to incur the following expenses as part of its build-out.
Hiring staff, including a chief operations officer.
Develop and implement a launch plan for the subsequent 10,000 cNFT sales.
Hiring web3 developers to program the gated platform and custom smart contracts for dNFT sales.
Hiring programmers to customize one of the many white-label DAO platforms for use by the 10k Host DAO.
DAO formation and other legal formalities.
Staffing the private 10K Host Discord platform with community managers where all communications and discussions on 10k Host project issues will occur.
Developing and implementing a marketing plan to reach millions of STR hosts worldwide.
Initial funding of early projects to gain platform leverage and develop communities around specific issues (like arbitration agaisnt platforms by hosts and local zoning challenges).
